glogster
Glogster is a fun touch to blogging. It really adds to your page for flyers, information, or posters for students to refer to. I made a glogster for the swim team because that was actually something I was working on at the moment. It's a reminder for workouts and to help them keep motivated this summer. I would use glogster for geometry by making posters of formulas, vocabulary words, and theorems that we are learning in class. Glogster will be an easy way to add this to the blog because it makes the picture making so simple! My glogster link is located over to the right if you just click on 2.0 web applications!
Docs to go Review
Geometry Review 1
I made a simple review for a Vocabulary Quiz.
Google Docs was my favorite section for creating web applications! As I was watching the videos, I was thinking of so many things I could use this for. For swimming I could use it for a team roster, attendance, sign up sheets, meet information, and so much more. It will be easy to send to parents in a mass email and they can edit it whenever they might need to. I love it!
For the teaching side I'm hoping it will be easy to access to my teacher website. I can edit reviews or add reviews online for students to look up. I can even take role for my class so students are aware of absences for exemption purposes at the end of the year. Google docs will also be a great way to share documents with other teachers. We can help each other edit without ever saving something on our computers. I love the idea and how it works. I'm hoping to add it into my routine for next year!

Delicious?
https://delicious.com/amyleigh08
That website link up there leads you to a website called Delicious. And no this delicious website won't tell you how to make cupcakes, cookies, or puppy chose. Instead it's completely educational. Got you!
When I'm searching Pinterest looking for craft or organization ideas for my house and I really like something, I "pin it." I pin it onto a board such as home, craft ideas, or classroom and it stays there. Then when I finally get around to completing, or even starting for that matter, a project, I just go back to my board and find it there. Well delicious has the same concept to it. I can go find websites that I like for any topic even if it's not teaching. Then I link my website to my delicious account, tag it, and it stays. Later in the school year when I need a website to help me plan a lesson, I go onto my delicious account to read more about it. The best part about this is that I can share this with my co-workers or anyone else on delicous.
