Oh Pinterest!

Teachers are connected all over pinterest with ideas, activities, and organization in every subject and grade level you could imagine! I would see an idea and just pin it with excitement knowing just where I could use that in geometry. I loved the activities to keep students engaged while learning. Teachers are linked to each other all over pinterest sharing activities with one another. I can't wait to add some of these ideas to my classroom and lesson planning this next year. I have two teaching boards on pinterest, one for classroom decorating/organization and another board for lesson planning and teaching ideas. I know as my experience grows, my boards will broaden but for now two works great!

WIKI SPACES???

Well you can go check out my website but you won't find too much. The video would not work (said it was too old?) and then I could not find it on youtube. I tried using the links that were listed but I suppose I'm just a little technology challenged when it comes to wiki spaces. The other school wiki spaces and classroom wiki spaces were interesting and showed organization of the material. I'm not exactly sure how I would use it for geometry. A history teacher did a great job at displaying her daily lessons on her wiki space for students to use as guidance.

Graphs!

I went to this website and created a graph. This graph would be great for working with independent and dependent variables. I would give the students word problems and then have them create a graph using this site! They could then post it on my blog under a discussion. We could to a class presentation later!
